Distant Worlds: Music from Final Fantasy
The official symphony concert world-tour Distant Worlds: Music from FINAL FANTASY features music by Japanese video game composer Nobuo Uematsu. Grammy Award-winner Arnie Roth conducts the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, the Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh and a to-be-announced Final Fantasy composer. Meet Roth and the mystery composer after the show. Distant Worlds combines stirring screen images as the Pittsburgh Symphony performs music from SQUARE ENIX’S video game series.
Wine, Jazz & Pops Festival
The Wine, Jazz & Pops Festival, which benefits the Mental Health Association of Washington County, will feature ten PA wineries and continuous live performances by the Washington Symphony Orchestra, jazz saxophonist Kenny Blake, and others, an amateur winemaking contest, and more.

Vocal and instrumental music by Bach, Mozart (Quintet for piano & winds), Rachmaninoff, Gershwin and Bernstein. 2012 Metropolitan Opera National Council auditions winner Andrey Nemzer sings with members of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and Pauline Rovkah, head of Chatham University's piano program, perform in the Hilda M. Willis Amphitheater surrounded by rolling fields and forests.
