Our Projects

WQED Multimedia’s education initiative, iQ: smartmedia, is taking kids places, helping them read, count, and share. We are committed to developing projects and partnerships that integrate positive PBS multimedia content with engaging in-person and virtual learning experiences for kids, families, and educators. CORE

WQED is PBS Pittsburgh. We broadcast nearly 70 hours of kids’ educational programming each week, and we’re also your connection to the dynamic online games and apps from PBS that move the needle on children’s learning.



EARLY LITERACY

WQED is committed to expanding the use of multimedia learning tools to strengthen literacy skills for kids in Pre-K to grade 3 and beyond.
