Son Trip is a TV reality show producer; Polly's sister Silda is a wisecracking liberal just out of rehab; most troubling is daughter Brooke, who announces that she is about to publish a revealing memoir. The Kreutzer Sonata Pozdynyshev, an enigmatic stranger in a smoky rail car, weaves a tale of love, loss and betrayal. His sensuous wife plays piano while his old friend plays violin, the Kreutzer Sonata between them, powerful and evocative. Was Beethoven's music the soundtrack to their illicit passion, or has Pozdynyshev made a terrible mistake? Irish playwright Nancy Harris adapted Tolstoy's classic novella into a theatrical experience.  Honeck, Mozart & Mahler Manfred Honeck's Mahler journey continues with the Symphony #7, one of the highlights of the season.
