To Carnegie with Love
To Carnegie with Love is a musical love letter that celebrates the Andrew Carnegie Free Library & Music Hall's 115 years of service. Bell'Art Ensemble will take the audience on a journey through music's Romantic era-Bizet, Rachmaninoff, Schumann and Dvorak.

Auditions for Nutcracker at Carnegie Performing Arts Center
Auditions for dancers, boys and girls, are being held for the annual performance of The Nutcracker, presented by the Carnegie Performing Arts Center. Two weekends of performances are being offered in a full stage production at the historic Andrew Carnegie Music Hall in Carnegie. Director Monica Ryan choreographs the production and rehearsals will take place on Saturday afternoons. Dancers ages 5 through adult are invited to attend the audition on Saturday, October 1. Ages 5 - 12 years old will be seen at 1 p.m. and 13 & up at 2 p.m. The auditions will take place at the studios of the Carnegie Performing Arts Center, the third floor, 150 East Main Street in Carnegie opposite Papa J’s Restaurant. Ellen prentiss Campbell Reading - The Bowl with Gold Seams
The Washington Independent Review of Books called Ellen Prentiss Campbell's debut novel a "brilliant tale of loss and redemption" with "a shimmering sense of intimacy." Set during the summer of 1945, "The Bowl With Gold Seams" was inspired by a strange period in the history of Southern Pennsylvania's Bedford Springs Hotel when the resort served as a detainment center for the Japanese Ambassador to Berlin, his staff, and their families.Come out for one last event before the store closes for renovations and opens under a new name..

Shelley, an award winning piano artist and current teaching assistant at Indiana University Jacobs School performs an outstanding recital of works by Schubert, Ravel, Gubaidulina, and Liszt.
