Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration
Presenter: Pittsburgh Symphony
A new symphonic project celebrating rock icon Jerry Garcia of The Grateful Dead. This orchestral adventure features Garcia's original compositions as well as classic interpretations of timeless standards that were hallmarks of Garcia's shows. Renowned vocalist/guitarist Warren Haynes collaborates with the PSO, lending his soul-soaked, introspective blend of rock, blues, R&B and jazz to Garcia's masterworks.

Pixar in Concert
Presenter: Pittsburgh Symphony
From Toy Story to The Incredibles and UP, Pixar has given audiences of all ages some of the most beloved characters in cinematic history. Now, for the first time ever, the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra presents Pixar in Concert, with visually stunning clips and memorable scores, including their latest, Brave, performed live by the PSO. Pixar's 13 scores have been written by just four composers: Randy Newman, Michael Giacchino, Thomas Newman, and Patrick Doyle.

Kopit & Yeston's Phantom
Presenter: Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera
By Tony Award-winners Maury Yeston and Arthur Kopit, Phantom is based on Gaston Leroux's timeless love story of the disfigured musical genius known as the Phantom Erik, and his muse, Christine Daae, the exciting and beautiful ingenue of the Paris Opera. Their musical affair unfolds deep in the catacombs of the Opera house, where Erik finds salvation in Christine/s breathtaking voice. The score features "Home," "You Are My Own," and "My True Love."
