Jr. Mendelssohn 23rd Anniversary Concert
The Jr. Mendelssohn Choir represents 16 area schools with singers from 8th to 12th grade. Susan Medley will conduct Fauré's Requiem and Cantique de Jean Racine, Viadana's Exultate justi in Domino, an arrangement of Malaysian folksong "Ibu," and Dello Joio's A Jubilant Song.

Women's Choir Festival
Pitt's Women's Choral Ensemble hosts choirs from Duquesne University, Seton Hill University, Westminster College, and the Fox Chapel Area High School. The program includes a wide variety of repertoire from classics to folk arrangements, and popular music.

The Queens
Written by Norman Chaurette and directed by Sheila McKenna, based on Shakespeare's Richard III with choreography by Andre Koslowski. It's a classic struggle for power and status as six queens vie for the throne: from the aged Duchess of York, who is 99 years old; to young Lady Anne, who must marry Richard III in order to reign; to the Duchess' daughter Anne Dexter who has no hands.

The Capitol Steps
Public radio's best-known political satire and sketch comedy troupe, The Capitol Steps are the winner (for the second year in a row) in the 23rd Annual "Wammie" Awards of the Washington Area Music Association for "Cabaret/Musical Theater." The Capitol Steps began as a group of Senate staffers who set out to satirize the very people and institutions that employed them.

The Ailsa Mellon Bruce Galleries will boast an enhanced reinstallation of the museum’s collection of decorative arts, design, and craft, selectively integrated with prints, architectural drawings, and paintings.
