Ain't Misbehavin'
A dinner theater production on Thursday & Friday (meals will not be served at the Saturday matinee). This musical revue is a tribute to the musicians of the 1920s and '30s Harlem Renaissance, and takes its title from the 1929 Fats Waller's song "Ain't Misbehavin'".

This concert features vocalist Neil Donell, often referred to as “the most recorded voice” in Canada. Donell has been heard on albums of such artists as Anne Murray, Triumph, and Rush. Music on the Edge - Haleh Abghari and Lisa Pegher
Music on the Edge and The Andy Warhol Museum co-present soprano Haleh Abghari and percussionist Lisa Pegher. Abghari will sing solo works by John Cage, György Kurtág's Attila József Fragments, and selections from Recitations by Georges Aperghis. Lisa Pegher will premiere Patrick Burke's Saturn Girls, Mathew Rosenblum's Northern Flicker, her own composition titled Liquefaction, and works by Paul Lansky, Joe Sheehan, and Andrew Knox.

Carmina Burana
Fans of the Carnegie Mellon Choirs are in for a treat as Maestro Robert Page conducts Carl Orff's Carmina Burana - the work for which Dr. Page won a Grammy in 1976 as director of the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus. The opening movement, "O Fortuna", has been used in pop culture to heighten the drama of events such as World Cup soccer, the Howard Stern Show, Gatorade commercials, and Pittsburgh Pirates games.

Cupid and Stardust
A Romantic concert with a spectacular view of Pittsburgh offers a chamber music version of Prokofiev's famous "Romeo and Juliet," plus original chamber music by Zemlinsky. The Winds will play the Cinq Aquarelles (Five Watercolors) by painter and composer Templeton Strong, and a crossover piece by Cuban-American composer Paquito D'Rivera.

Like August Wilson, Kyle Abraham draws heavily from his experiences growing up African American in Pittsburgh to create personal and culturally-referenced works. The evening's full-length performance pairs classic essays from W.E.B Du Bois’ Souls of Black Folk and John Singleton's 1991 film, Boyz n the Hood with an operatic score layered with a brash urban landscape.
