Breath and Imagination: The Story of Roland Hayes A world premiere by Daniel Beaty (creator of Through the Night). Roland Hayes journeyed from the dirt paths of Georgia to European stages, becoming the first African-American classical vocalist to be heard around the world. With bright yellow shoes given to him by his mother, his Angel Mo', Roland walked the hard road to stardom. This musical features the soul of spirituals and the grace of classical music to portray one man's ambition to be an artist. 03/09/2013

Emcee Anna Singer returns as Marian the Librarian in this fun family feature from the 1960s. Puccini's Madama Butterfly Cio-Cio San's (Maria Luigia Borsi) open heart and trusting nature are the reasons that Pinkerton (Bryan Hymel) should love her, and the reasons that you'll weep at the end of the opera. The young Japanese woman, nicknamed Butterfly, gives up her family and her religion to be with Pinkerton. Pinkerton gives up nothing, and promptly leaves - returning three years later with his American wife, leaving the young Butterfly mortally devastated. Jean-Luc Tingaud conducts. 03/16/2013
