Halfway to Somewhere
2013 PGC resident artists Granite Calimpong of Seattle and Brent Rogers of Chicago came together to experiment, try new ideas and make art in a nonlinear way using different materials and new approaches and processes. Calimpong's work is typically blown and cold-worked glass that is simple and clean with a focus on the form and surface. Rogers' work focuses more on content rather than form. He uses imagery, lamination and painting on glass to convey various concepts.
