Radio Golf by August Wilson Pittsburgh Playwrights becomes one of the few theatres in the world to present all ten plays of August Wilson's Pittsburgh Century Cycle in the order of their Broadway appearance. Mark Clayton Southers, Art Terry, Wali Jamal with Kevin Brown and Chrystal Bates under the direction of Eileen J. Morris bring Wilson's characters to life as they tell the story of Harmond Wilks and his evolution in the Historic Hill District. 06/01/2013

Trillium Ensemble presents Silent Spring Silent Spring features new works and the completion of John Adams' Gnarly Buttons. Trillium Ensemble commissioned Mark Fromm's Silent Spring, inspired by Rachel Carson, which uses a singing pianist, extended flute techniques, and bass clarinet. A world premiere piano solo, Matthew Heap's On The Ceiling Of The Sky, presents a full-range rhythmic thunderstorm. Mathew Rosenblum’s Under the Rainbow, for flute and pre-recorded CD, journeys through techno, karaoke, lounge, and cartoon soundtrack genres, with samples from MGM's Wizard of Oz. 06/08/2013
Zachary Good, clarinet Pittsburgh native Zachary Good earned his Bachelor of Music degree at the Oberlin Conservatory. He began clarinet lessons with Eric Nelson, performed in many ensembles while at Oberlin, and will play this summer with the Aspen Music Festival's Contemporary Music Ensemble. Next year, he will study for a master's degree with former Chicago Symphony principal clarinetist Larry Combs. 06/08/2013
