Music of Mozart
As part the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra's Mozart Festival, the PSO and Chamber Music Pittsburgh co-present an all-Mozart concert including selections for Violin and Piano completed by Harvard scholar and Classical period keyboard expert Robert Levin, performing with Noah Bendix-Balgley, newly-appointed First Concertmaster of the Berlin Philharmonic. Mr. Levin and PSO members also perform the Piano Quartet in G minor, K. 478, and Clarinet Quintet in A major, K. 581.

Mozart Festival Finale
The Mendelssohn Choir joins the PSO in Mozart's celebratory and moving “Coronation” Mass. Creative force Don Marinelli joins Manfred Honeck and the PSO for the finale of the Mozart Festival, featuring a unique presentation of selections from Mozart's most famous operas.

Cassandra Wilson
Cassandra Wilson has been described as "a singer blessed with an unmistakable timbre and attack who has expanded the playing field" by incorporating blues, country and folk music into her work. Her awards include: two Grammys, the Django D'Or, The Edison Music Award, a marker on the Mississippi Blues Trail, and the 2012 Echo Award for Jazz. She also performed a lead role in Wynton Marsalis' "Blood on the Fields," the first jazz work to receive a Pulitzer Prize.
