Consummate Flutist Faculty Gala Recital
The free recital will feature Jim Walker, Alberto Almarza, Soo-Kyung Park, Julie McGough, Hernan Jara, Wendy Kumer, Amal Gochenour, Rachel Blumenthal, Sarah Steranka, Esther Lee, and Stephen Schultz.

Midsummer Night's Revels
PSIP's annual benefit dinner party will celebrate ten amazing years bringing free Shakespeare to Pittsburgh parks. Drinks and appetizers start at 6:30 pm. Dinner will be followed by entertainment and a silent auction. RSVP by June 16.

Performed by the Pittsburgh Symphony and amplified with a full rock band and vocals, Havens captures Queen's distinct sound in a whole new arena.
When teenager Ren McCormack moves from the big city to middle-of-nowhere Bomont, where even dancing is against the law, he's in for a real case of culture shock. After falling for the preacher's daughter, Ren really shakes things up. This fast-paced rock 'n roll musical features the Billboard-topping hits "Footloose," "Let’s Hear It for the Boy," "Almost Paradise" and "Holding Out for a Hero."

Faked, Forgotten, Found: Five Renaissance Paintings Investigated
Museum curators and conservators recently uncovered a 16th-century painting beneath the surface of what they suspected to be a 19th-century fake. The painting, which been in museum storage for over 30 years, was evaluated with other works in 2013, when CMOA Conservator Ellen Baxter found intriguing evidence of its origins. This exhibition peels away the secrets of this and other works from the collection.

Written and produced by pianist Kevin Cole, this world-premiere star-studded event celebrates the award-winning music of Marvin Hamlisch and provides an insider's view into his life through song, family videos and personal memories.
