Beguiled by the beautiful Coppélia, Franz is distracted from his betrothed, and the absurdity reaches hilarious heights when the inquisitive Swanhilda discovers her rival is a mere mechnical doll.

Dark of the Moon is a powerful, mystical folk drama. A tale of tragic love, a la Romeo and Juliet, is at the heart of a story which depicts a clash of incongruent worlds - the mountains where witches and other supernatural beings reside and the valley where the humans live. When John, a “witch boy,” falls in love with the beautiful, lusty mortal, Barbara Allen, he makes a pact with a conjurer to gain human status.
