Zero Cost House
Zero Cost House is a collaboration between Philadelphia's Pig Iron Theatre Company and acclaimed Japanese playwright Toshiki Okada. Awkward, personal, and idiosyncratic, this is Okada’s most autobiographical work, and his first work created for an English-speaking theatre company. It's a meditation on how Thoreau's Walden changed Okada's life; on the disruptions and re-imaginings that accompany a national disaster; and on the uneasy compromises between radical idealism and contemporary living.
