J. S. Bach's St. John Passion
J. S. Bach's 1724 St. John Passion, in German (with English for the hymns) with the Calvary Choir and soloists, Chatham Baroque, and Pittsburgh Baroque Ensemble, directed by Alan Lewis. This work was Bach's first large-scale oratorio for St. Thomas Church, Leipzig. It tells the story of Jesus' arrest, trial, crucifixion, and death according to the Gospel of John. Last Touch First by Jiri Kylian & Michael Schumacher
