Toi Derricotte, poet Award-winning poet Toi Derricotte will give a free public reading. Her most recent book, The Undertaker's Daughter, looks back on her childhood in an abusive home. Recipient of two Pushcart Prizes, the Paterson Poetry Prize, NEA fellowships, and Rockefeller and Guggenheim Foundation grants, Derricotte teaches at Pitt, and is co-founder of Cave Canem, a workshop and retreat for African-American poets. 04/04/2013 Time: 7:00 pm

 The Six Brandenburg Concertos Conductor and harpsichordist Jeannette Sorrell leads these six masterpieces in concerto grosso form, J.S. Bach's supreme achievement in instrumental music. The Brandenburg Concertos were unknown until published on the centennial of Bach's death.
