Dream Body
Two video projections by local artist Blaine Siegel include sculptural components. One references the infamous "Hanged Man" tarot card. Hanging upside down from a tree, the man gains a fresh perspective on the world and his place in it. The second video is a split image projected from a boulder on the floor. The first image depicts a domestic still life, and the second image is slightly altered, raising questions for the viewer.

Ballet du Grand Theatre de Geneve
Directed by Philippe Cohen, the Geneva Ballet is known around the world for its exquisite dancers and exciting artistic collaborations. This presentation will also feature two major emerging choreographers: Andonis Foniadakis and Ken Ossola. Glory, choreographed by Foniadakis, allows the dancers' bodies to come together in various modes of symbiosis, either fluid or tense, expansive or minimalistic, which demonstrates the mastery and quality of Handel's flamboyant music. The hypnotic quality of Sed Lux Permanet, choreographed by Ossola, and its sculpted shadow play enhance the delicate nature of bodies wreathed by the sensitive, ethereal sweetness of Faure's Requiem.
