iQ: smartmedia, WQED's education initiative, brings you a series of webinars that help educators and careproviders incorporate PBS resources into their daily routine. From gaming to geography, music to science, PBS has resources proven to help kids realize their potential. Join us for these innovative, fun-filled, and engaging workshops brought to you by experts in the field! Our webinars and trainings will equip you to nurture your students' curiosity and skills -- both in and out of the classroom -- using 21st century multimedia learning tools and techniques. Join us!

These FREE webinars are available to caregivers, home care providers, and educators in formal, informal, home-school, and cyber-school environments. All will be held after school from 3:30-4:30 pm. To register, click on the links below.

February 29: The Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That! and Read Across America Week: PBS Literacy Resources with PBS KIDS Interactive
In celebration of Dr. Seuss' birthday, join us as we share the whimsy of Cat in the Hat combined with amazing PBS literacy resources geared toward helping children talk, spell, and read. Don't miss how you can track the day-to-day progress of a child in or out of school with PBS KIDS Island, demonstrated by the PBS KIDS Interactive team.

It's National Engineers Week in February. Learn how to incorporate the world of engineering and design into your curriculum or afterschool program year round with the amazing TV show, Design Squad Nation.

During the "month of the young child," we turn our focus to health, wellness, nutrition, and eating on a budget. Hear from Giant Eagle's nutritionist Judy Dodd with tips about healthy eating.
