|PSO Sensory-Friendly Performance: Heroes and Inspirations|

Open to people of all ages and abilities but designed especially for individuals with autism spectrum disorders, sensory sensitivities, or other disabilities, "Heroes and Inspirations," a sensory-friendly performance featuring the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, will provide patrons with the opportunity to enjoy a symphony concert together with family and friends in a relaxed environment. Everyone is welcome to come and appreciate the music in his or her own way at this event!Assistant Conductor Francesco Lecce-Chong will lead the symphony in an inclusive concert experience featuring musical selections that celebrate superheroes, astronauts, athletes, teachers, and other extraordinary characters and individuals. Special guests will include vocalists Katy Williams and Ricky Manning, visual artist Marcel Walker, lyricist Sara Pyszka, and astronaut Jay Apt.Enjoy opportunities for audience participation, including an "America the Beautiful" sing-along, during the performance, and submit artwork of your favorite hero or inspiration to be shown at the concert!
