It’s no secret: Ross Park Mall is becoming the place to go for fashion. Who’d have thought that this former run-of-the-mill mall would house Nordstrom and Tiffany & Co.? Both stores open this month and join other high-end choices such as Burberry, Kate Spade, Louis Vuitton and Michael Kors.

Where Have All the Honeybees Gone?

Fall honey from local apiaries, a sweet treat foodies look forward to each year, is now available at farmers’ markets and grocery stores (see “Honey Do!” page 18, for information). Tragically, bees have been dying off in huge numbers here in Pennsylvania and around the world—a sting that reaches beyond the honey industry and could threaten our entire ecosystem.
