I've been working lately on a new TV program about the Lincoln Highway, America's first major coast-to-coast road, created in 1913. We're lucky that Pittsburgh has always been on the Lincoln Highway's route, and that Brian Butko, an important historian of the road and author of Greetings From The Lincoln Highway and other great books, lives here too. He says there are many things he'd want Lincoln Highway fans to see as they motor through this corner of Pennsylvania, but these are four good suggestions (move your mouse over the pictures!):
