FROM PITTSBURGH CITIPARKS RESUMES WITH MEDIA SPONSOR WQED-FM 89.3
PITTSBURGH—For more than ten years Classical WQED-FM 89.3 has been the official media sponsor for the Pittsburgh Citiparks concert series called Bach, Beethoven & Brunch Classical Music Series.
On June 19 WQED-FM 89.3’s Ted Sohier will host the inaugural concert with the Edgewood Symphony Orchestra in the Rose Garden Lawn at Mellon Park located at the corners of Fifth and Shady Avenues in Pittsburgh’s Point Breeze/Squirrel Hill neighborhoods supporting this treasured summertime tradition. The nine FREE performances are held every Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to noon through August 14. WQED-FM 89.3 on-air personalities will also be on-hand with register-to-win prizes during intermission.
