PITTSBURGH—Investment fraud affects millions of Americans each year. On Thursday, May 31, at 10:15 a.m. at its Oakland location, WQED is holding a FREE screening of scenes from the documentary Trick$ of the Trade: Outsmarting Investment Fraud with an expert panel discussion to follow regarding investment fraud and prevention resources in partnership with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Investor Education Foundation and AARP. This engagement opportunity is a follow-up to WQED’s statewide broadcast of Fighting Fraud in Pennsylvania: A Statewide Initiative and Trick$ of the Trade on April 26th in partnership with the FINRA Foundation.
Panelists include: Vincent J. Gastgeb, Allegheny County Councilman and Pennsylvania Securities Commissioner; Christine N. Kieffer, FINRA Investor Education Foundation Senior Director; and Mary Bach, AARP Pennsylvania Consumer Issues Task Force Chair.

Trick$ of the Trade: Outsmarting Investment Fraud is a documentary developed by the FINRA Foundation in collaboration with AARP. The program is presented by WQED Multimedia, and distributed by American Public Television (APT) to public television stations nationwide.
