NEEDED FOR QED COOKS COOKING MARATHON
PREMIERING THIS SUMMER
One winner drawn during the LIVE premiere Saturday, June 4 at 10 a.m. on WQED-TV will receive a $200 gift certificate to be used towards the purchase of a grill
PITTSBURGH—Summer is right around the corner and QED Cooks wants to get you ready for all of your Picnics & Bar-B-Q needs with a new cooking marathon and the chance to win a gift certificate towards the purchase of a new grill.
Are you a grill-master? Do you have the best barbeque sauce East of Texas? Do people go crazy for your baked beans, or coleslaw or potato salad?
Now through Monday, May 23, send your favorite picnic and BBQ recipes and they will be considered for inclusion in the Picnics & Bar-B-Q cookbook. We’ll need everything from Appetizers and Main Courses to Side Dishes and Desserts, so get creative and send us your best dishes. In addition to collecting new recipes, WQED is asking you to submit in 25 words or less whether you prefer gas or charcoal for grilling and why. All submissions will be entered into a drawing. Then on Saturday, June 4 at 10 a.m. tune-in to WQED-TV for the premiere of Picnics & Bar-B-Q when host Chris Fennimore announces the name of one lucky winner who will receive a $200 gift certificate towards the purchase of a gas or charcoal grill!
To submit your recipe for consideration in the Picnics & Bar-B-Q cookbook or to enter for a chance to win a $200 gift certificate towards the purchase of a grill, send your entry via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org or mail to:
