2003 Emmy Awards
WQED Multimedia won Emmys in six categories at the Mid-Atlantic Emmy Awards in Philadelphia, Saturday, September 13. Four of the station's six awards were for OnQ stories and staff members. Here's a rundown of the winners and categories.

JUNE 3, 2003
OnQ correspondent Michael Bartley received the Community Champion Award from the Advisory Board on Autism and Related Disorders (ABOARD).
Michael was recognized for two OnQ stories: one that showcased local autism research, the other a profile of Kim Peek, known as the "real Rainman."

MAY 12, 2003
OnQ's Pierina Morelli won the Golden Quill award for "Best TV Feature Photography" for her work on From Pittsburgh To Haiti: Mission of Mercy.
The Golden Quills are sponsored by the Western Pennsylvania Press Club to recognize outstanding journalism.

The Association for Women in Communications honored two OnQ stories at its 40th annual Matrix Awards.
