OnQ Wins 3 Emmy Awards. WQED competes in the Mid-Atlantic Region of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. Emmy statuettes were presented at a ceremony in Philadelphia to the following WQED team members.

WQED Receives 12 Mid-Atlantic Emmy nominations. 10 of those nominations were for OnQ stories, OnQ specials and OnQ staff members - as listed in the categories below. The National Television Academy of Arts & Sciences will announce the Emmy winners at a ceremony in Philadelphia, September 26, 2009.
