Pittsburgh and Allegheny County Green Initiatives - Pittsburgh has a lot to brag about when it comes to going green but some local leaders say not so fast - there's still a lot more work to be done. OnQ's Tonia Caruso looks at the latest plans and proposals designed to make our region even more environmentally friendly.

Michael Finnegan - Now a teacher at Point Park University, Michael Finnegan was an FBI agent in the New York office where he helped track down one of the most elusive terrorists of the 1970s. OnQ's Michael Bartley talks to this local man about the capture and conviction of Khalid Al-Jawary.

Rum Cakes For A Cause - Dr. Kamthorn Sukarochana is a retired pediatric surgeon who bakes rum and apricot brandy cakes to help raise funds for The Woodland Foundation, which serves children and adults with disabilities and chronic illnesses. OnQ contributor Chris Fennimore goes into the kitchen with "Dr. Kam" to bring us this holiday report.

Recipe for Dr. Kam's 10-inch Rum Cake
1 yellow cake mix with pudding
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup (Bacardi) rum
1/2 cup water
4 eggs

Mix ingredients and beat well. Place in greased and floured bundt pan and bake one hour at 350 degrees. Cool and turn out of pan onto plate. Prick top and bottom with a fork.

SAUCE:
1/4 cup water
1 stick butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup rum

Heat water on high heat. Whisk butter and water together on the fire. Add sugar and whisk until sugar dissolves. Take off fire and add rum. Pour over cake.

Sports Artist - Larry Klukaszewski is an elementary school teacher in New Kensington who has found a second career painting sports figures on NFL footballs and other memorabilia. His "Klu Sports Art" is scoring big with professional athletes and fans.

The Steelerettes - Many Pittsburghers may have forgotten, but the Steelers had the first cheerleading squad in the NFL. The Steelerettes revved up the home crowd from 1961 to 1970. OnQ's Tonia Caruso introduces us to some of the women involved in this little known part of Steelers' history.

Losing Lambert: A Journey Through Survival & Hope - This OnQ documentary follows the emotional story of a Pittsburgh-area mother who lost her 16-year-old son to suicide. Kathy O'Hern Fowler would emerge as one of the region's best-known advocates for "survivors of suicide." The program also focuses on Pittsburgh research on suicidal teenagers.

Dr. Marcela Bohm-Velez - Dr. Marcela Bohm-Velez is a local radiologist who not only helps patients in Pittsburgh, but educates doctors and patients throughout South America on breast cancer. OnQ's Tonia Caruso reports on the doctor's life-saving work in countries where cancer detection and survival rates are low.
