Marya Sea Kaminski - "The Tempest"
Marya Sea Kaminsky, the new Artistic Director of Pittsburgh Public Theater, runs down what she’s up to in her production of Shakespeare’s The Tempest with only women in the cast in a conversation with Jim Cunningham. She explains how to pronounce Marya. It’s like Maria - as in “they call the wind Maria”. Will she repeat her Seattle spectacular with the Seahawks Drumline with something similar in Pittsburgh? The delights of the cast including Tamara Tunie and Pittsburgh treasures are explored, plus some samples of the delicious score written by Andre Pluess.
