Patricia Prattis Jennings

Pianist and writer Patricia Prattis Jennings spent more than 40 years with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, serving as Principal Keyboard Artist. She was the first African-American woman to join the PSO, and she edited the periodical "Symphonium," about and for African-American symphony members, as a sideline. Ms. Jennings has published an anthology of essays about the changes she has witnessed titled "In One Era and Out the Other," and she shares a few insights with QED's Jim Cunningham.
