Ignite is a business incubator and co-working space, owned and operated by Washington & Jefferson College, that is designed to serve start-up and existing small businesses. Our programming and co-working office space are intended to empower, support, educate and connect Washington County businesses. We are focused on driving community impact and economic development by serving as a catalyst for the growth of new businesses, existing small businesses, and non-profits across Washington County (This includes students, faculty, staff and any Washington County residents).
Our programming includes business planning workshops/competitions, speaker series and one-on-one consultative services all designed to empower the entrepreneur or small business/organization. The building itself is also a critical asset for Washington County as existing businesses and entrepreneurs can rent affordable space in our 4,000 square foot facility.
WHAT WE OFFER
Ignite supports local entrepreneurs by offering a variety of resources including mentorship with industry experts. Ignite is here to test and cultivate ideas and help see these ideas through to becoming a reality!
Smaller businesses and independent professionals find co-working provides affordable office space with important work necessities like high-speed internet, printers, and meeting rooms, resulting in lower start-up costs.
