The Meadows Lanes has been an oasis for black bowlers in Homewood since 1974. It's history in Pittsburgh, which goes back through duck pins and the 1940's, of putting some of the first integrated teams on the pro women's tour is remarkable. Despite recent hard times "This House" continues to train young African American bowlers for the future.


The announcement has stunned this declining urban community. OnQ's Chris Moore reports on the hospital closure, the concern about lost safety nets, as well as reporting on the safety nets that will remain in place for those who need them.
